I wore this outfit for a fun day adventuring around SE Portland with my sweetheart. It was sunny (yay!) but also really cold (boo!). I thought I might lose a foot or something--flats without tights or socks on a three mile walk in 30 degree weather wasn't my best call ever.

We browsed for records on Hawthorne. We snagged some Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Electric Light Orchestra, and Bob Dylan's soundtrack for Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid.

Bill Cosby's face here kills me.

I am very proud of myself for kind of, sorta figuring out maiden braids.

Oh my gosh, that blue sky.

How neat are these colorful mosaic stairs?

That afternoon, I took myself on a date to Boke Bowl, a ramen place in the SE Industrial District I've been dying to try. I ordered the vegan caramelized fennel ramen--it was tasty. The noodles were a lot chewier (and better!) than the Top Ramen I'm used to.
